At this year’s EdTech 2010 conference in Ashland, Virginia at Randolph-Macon College, Goochland ITRTs Bea Cantor and Amanda Henley gave presentations, along with GCPS teacher Jamie-Ellen Spessard.
Mrs. Cantor presented twice, once on the practice of screencasting solutions for teachers to help address their needs with technology, and again on best practices with Promethean ActivBoards.
Mrs. Henley and Mrs. Spessard (above, and below respectively) co-presented on a G21 project focused on the concept of freedom. Mrs. Spessard designed a cross-county project with several hundred elementary students who exchanged ideas and artwork using Moodle, our course management system.
Next month, the project concludes with a choral performance.
